Following the completion of road surfacing works on Pelham Road in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire Council will be undertaking some testing of the newly installed road surface between King’s Road and Worsley Road.

The tests will include a skid resistance test and sand patch test (weather permitting) at various locations along the newly surfaced length.

The tests will help determine that the pavement has the appropriate surface texture, and that the new surface is safe, durable and meets all quality specifications.

These works will be carried out under temporary traffic signals on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 October, between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

The bus stops outside Pilgrim Primary Care Centre will be suspended on Tuesday 21 October between 9:30am and 12:30pm. Please utilise the next available stop during this time.

The council and contractor Humberside Materials Laboratory would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience and assures that the work will be completed as quickly and safely as possible.
