Unlock the timeless beauty of one of the world’s oldest and most cherished flowers with Dobbies, as the UK’s leading garden centre celebrates National Rose Month with its free gardening session on rose care in its Boston store.

Dobbies is offering advice and guidance on cultivating and caring for garden roses at its free Grow How session in Boston on Saturday 2 June at 10:30am.

The Dobbies team will be showcasing a selection of rose varieties, providing insights into the unique growing requirements and nurturing techniques for each type.

Attendees in Boston will enjoy a live demonstration and there will also be the chance to ask questions and get personalised advice.

Participants will discover which rose varieties are best suited for container planting, making it easier and more affordable to cultivate these stunning blooms in the garden. They can also learn more about the fantastic range of fragrances offered by different roses and learn how to identify your favourites based on their unique scents.

Dobbies’ Grow How sessions, that take place each month in the Boston store, are designed to be both fun and interactive, ensuring everyone leaves with new knowledge and inspiration for their own gardening projects.

Nigel Lawton, Dobbies’ Plant Buyer, said: “Roses have the unique ability to transform any space with their beauty and fragrance. This month’s Grow How session in Boston provides a wonderful opportunity for everyone to discover just how easy and rewarding it can be to grow and care for these magnificent flowers.”
