Enjoy fun in the sun at the District Council stand at this weekend’s 157th Heckington Show!

We’ve got a pop-up artificial beach at the show as a mini taster of Sleaford-on-Sea, which is coming to Sleaford Market Place later in the summer holidays.

Alongside the sandpit, on site we’ll have ride-on bin lorries, a days out guide to pick-up, cycle trails and When in Sleaford trails to give away, a smoothie bike and plenty of free fun, crafts and activity for all ages.

Come and visit the Council’s stand to find out more about the changes that are coming through Local Government Reorganisation and the roll-out of the new food waste collection service.

Find out new ways to recycle and repurpose household items and old paint, and nominate new locations for more community orchards to be planted.

We'll also share insights about the investments we’ve been making and the £310m more that’s planned over the next 10 years.

The Council’s stand is at the corner of Ringside and Avenue A, the row that runs the length of the showground.

Our sponsorship of the ultimate cycle challenge – the Victor and Victrix Ludorum – is a celebration of one of the Show’s most distinct factors and, connecting with its strategic focus, promotes cycling as an active and impactful way to Act on Climate in North Kesteven.
