Essential road marking works in Grimsby will begin next week

North East Lincolnshire Council will undertake essential highway maintenance work to refresh the road markings on several roads throughout North East Lincolnshire next week.

The work will be carried out from 7.00pm each evening and will involve temporary road closures to ensure safety for both contractor and the public during the works.

Traffic will be diverted around the closures using alternative signed routes.

The programme will start on Monday 15 September and will run over four nights. Details of the closures are listed below.

Monday 15^th September – Carr Lane (Clee Crescent to Runswick Road)

Tuesday 16^th September – B1203 Waltham Road, Brigsley (Normans Corner)

Tuesday 16^th September – Carr Lane (Runswick Road to Fiveways Roundabout)

Tuesday 16^th September – Durban Road (Roberts Street to Fiveways Roundabout)

Wednesday 17^th September – Waltham Road, Grimsby (Scartho Fork to Springfield Road)

Wednesday 17^th September – Gate Lane, Grimsby (Waltham Road to Pinfold Lane)

Wednesday 17^th September – Louth Road (Scartho Fork to Westkirke Avenue)

Thursday 18^th September – Cromwell Road, Grimsby (Finchley Court to Market Hotel Roundabout)

Thursday 18^th September – Brighowgate, Grimsby (Grosvenor Street to Wellowgate)

Although every effort will be made to minimise disruption throughout the works, some elements will be noisy.
