Lincolnshire Co-op, Gleeds, The New Homes Agent and Tradeglaze (Lincoln) were just some of last night’s (3rd February 2022) winners at the fifth annual Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards.
Over 330 people gathered to celebrate the Construction and Property sector in Lincolnshire, with the awards ceremony taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln.
Guests arrived at these prestigious awards, sponsored by Morgan Sindall Construction, and were welcomed by guest speakers Dan Lowes, former RAF pilot and executive officer of the Red Arrows, and English Rugby Union and Leicester Tigers star, Leon Lloyd.
One of the biggest awards of the evening was ‘Development Project (over £5 million) – Sponsored by Shakespeare Martineau’ which Lincolnshire Co-op scooped the top award for its Cornhill Quarter redevelopment. The £70million redevelopment of The Cornhill Quarter has completely transformed the heart of Lincoln combining the rich history of the city with new contemporary bars, shops and restaurants.
Residents will also be pleased to know that Lincoln itself has also just been awarded £19million to support its Town Deal Programme, which will initiate a range of projects to support regeneration and development in the city. The programme consists of 13 projects, which will be carried out over the next few years – so even more big changes are afoot in the city centre!
