The Jolly Scotchman has undergone a significant garden investment ahead of pubs reopening outside after months of closure.
The Jolly Scotchman will open its garden to happy revelers to enjoy their first pulled pint and pub grub since they were closed in November as a result of the Coronavirus lockdown.
As part of the garden investment, the Jolly Scotchman has undergone a complete refurbishment, including an outdoor terrace with heaters, wifi, sound system, new lighting, and extensive seating, providing the perfect space for a much-needed beer and pub favourites.
General manager, Ed Binns, and his team look forward to welcoming guests to the newly refurbished garden following a 5 -figure investment.
Ed said: “After such a long period of closure we’re so pleased to be opening our newly renovated garden for guests to enjoy a well-deserved pint, which will hopefully be in the sunshine. The garden is looking fantastic and it is such an exciting time as we welcome guests, both new and old.
“The Jolly Scotchman is at the heart of the community in Sleaford, so we are excited to be able to offer an outdoor area where locals can enjoy a drink or meal together after months of being apart.”
As part of the opening the Jolly Scotchman will be offering a full food menu with pub classics including Flame-Grilled Cheese & Bacon Burger, XL Mixed Grill, Signature Double Dipped Rib-Eye and all the challenges including the Big Mexican burger.
Customers will receive table service and will have the option to order via the Greene King order and pay app: www.greeneking-pubs.co.uk/order-and-pay-app/.
Greene King will reopen 442 of its managed pubs outdoors in England on Monday 12 April as an important first step towards the goal of normal trading by June, under the government’s roadmap to lifting restrictions.
