Party Planet, is a family run business established in 1998. They cater for every occasion, from personal to corporate. The shop itself is comprised of around 3000 square feet of shopping space and a small team of 8 friendly and knowledgeable staff who pride themselves on their customer service.
To say last year was a bit of a roller-coaster ride for the team would be an understatement. May welcomed the shop’s 20th Anniversary, spirits were high as everybody was particularly grateful and excited to have spent 2 great decades in the industry. On August 24th everything changed. The ladies walked in to find half the shop completely ruined. A mixture of heavy rainfall and incomplete overhead resurfacing work lead to the collapse of the ceiling and subsequent flooding of the shop, bringing with it a terrible feeling of uncertainty and devastation. 20 years hard work destroyed in one night!
Luckily the unit next door but one was empty, allowing Party Planet to temporarily set up shop there with everything they had left and keep trading. A painstakingly long 6 months passed, before it was time to move back ‘home’. Whilst the situation wasn’t ideal, taking a massive toll on both the staff and sales, it enabled them to make some positive changes to their store.
Now happily settled back in, they’re offering the same fantastic shopping experience they always have. Helped by their passion for innovative high standard balloon decor, their vast selection of merchandise, and their balloon delivery service.
