School children from local primary schools have designed the artwork that features on a Christmas Card from North East Lincolnshire Council’s Family Hubs.

The 7 designs feature iconic festive characters and landscapes such as a Christmas tree, a snowman and an elf. Children from Reynolds Academy, Stallingborough CofE Primary School and Pilgrim Academy sent in their colourful creations to be featured on the front of the Christmas cards.

The 7 Family Hub’s across the borough bring together services to offer help and support to children and young people aged 0 to 19 and their families, and include early education, activity sessions, childcare and childcare funding information, health services for children and soon-to-be parents, training and employment, and much more.

Councillor Margaret Cracknell, Portfolio Holder for Children and Education at North East Lincolnshire Council said:

“It’s lovely to have some of our local children design the Christmas Cards that will be seen by residents across North East Lincolnshire.

We hope it brings some festive joy to your letterbox and also reminds families that the hubs are a valuable resource that can be accessed by anyone. Family Hubs are a vital part of our communities and offer excellent support to children, young people and their families.”
