Lincs Inspire Libraries celebrate the clocks springing forward with a free seasonal reading challenge.

Spring Reading Bingo aims to inspire residents in North East Lincolnshire to discover new authors, try new genres and to read more.

There are prizes to be won and a bingo card to check off!

Derek O’Connell, Development Manager for Lincs Inspire Libraries, said: “What better way to welcome in the lighter nights than with a seasonal reading challenge!

“We hope the simple book bingo cards will encourage readers to find new titles they may not have considered before.”

Bingo cards are available from Lincs Inspire Library branches from Tuesday, April 7. Readers will be entered into a prize draw for cash prizes, one entry for each bingo line completed, or five entries for a full house.

Categories on the bingo card include ‘A Sunny Book’ and ‘A Holiday Destination’, along with more general themes such as ‘Your Choice’, ‘A Good Cover’, and ‘Quick Read’.

Derek added: “Readers may also want to browse our e-Library for eBooks or eAudiobooks, which all count towards the bingo game.”

Spring Reading Bingo is open to all aged 16 years and over and ends on June 26.

Get started at Cleethorpes, Grimsby (Freshney Place), Immingham or Waltham Libraries. Anyone who is not yet a library member can register for a library card, either online or in a library.
