Boston Borough Council is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Boston’s Got Christmas Talent Show, taking place as part of the Boston Christmas Festival 2025.

The event will be held on Saturday 29th November, with performances commencing at 1pm and winners announced at 3pm.

This year’s competition, delivered in partnership with The Biz, will feature three performance categories: Dance, Singing, and Musical performance. Each category will be divided into three age groups to ensure fair and inclusive participation:

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their talents live on stage before an audience and a distinguished panel of judges.

The panel will include The Worshipful The Mayor of Boston, alongside other notable guests such as West End performer Matty Dickenson.

Winners in each category will be recognised and awarded prizes in celebration of their achievements.

The event aims to showcase and celebrate the amazing local talent on offer throughout the borough by providing a platform for performers of all ages, where they can exhibit their skills in a festive and supportive environment.

Councillor Barrie Pierpoint, The Worshipful The Mayor of Boston, said: "Boston’s Got Christmas Talent is a truly wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity and spirit of our community.

“I’m looking forward to seeing all the incredible talent we have across the generations in Boston and sharing in the joy this event brings to our town."

Councillor Helen Staples, Portfolio Holder for Communities at Boston Borough Council, said: "This event is a true reflection of Boston’s vibrant community.

“It’s always inspiring to see families, friends, and neighbours come together to support local performers and enjoy the festive atmosphere as part of the wider Boston Christmas Festival.”

Please note that parental or guardian consent is required for all entrants under the age of 16.

For further information or to express interest in participating, please contact the Communities and Events team via email at BostonChristmas@boston.gov.uk.
