North East Lincolnshire Council is urging people to plan ahead for the Armed Forces Day celebrations to avoid disappointment.

On Friday, early evening, the Community Carnival will travel from Grant Street to Haverstoe Park, so there will be several closures in place to make the roads safe for participants.

Over the weekend, the main Armed Forces weekend celebrations will take over the main part of the resort, from Sea Road to Brighton Slipway, as well as Lower Kingsway, part of the Leisure Centre car park and the Boating Lake, so there will be road closures in place as normal.

Details of these are below, subject to minor change.
