Love your Town: Call for performers, traders and venues as 2025 event dates announced

Love Your Town returns to the heart of Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and Immingham this February 2025, promising an exciting blend of cultural celebrations, love themed community activities and free family-friendly fun.

 

Get ready to be ‘loved up’ by live performances, workshops, pop up food and artisan markets, walking and shop trails and installations centred around the theme of love: love for your town, yourself and each other.

 

Thousands of visitors are expected across the three days, taking place across several venues and local shops in each town centre, these events will bring you free fun for all ages and appreciation for our businesses and places.

 

The Love Your Town series kicks off in Immingham with LOVE IMMINGHAM on Saturday 8th February, followed by LOVE GRIMSBY on 15th February and culminating with LOVE CLEETHORPES on Saturday 22nd February.

As a local business, there are several ways you can join the event and help make a bigger impact, from running your own event at your premises to joining the treasure trail and displaying brilliant artwork.

Councillor Hayden Dawkins, Portfolio Holder for Culture, Heritage and Visitor Economy, said: “We’re really glad to see these events coming back to the main towns of North East Lincolnshire.

 

“They will provide increased footfall at a key time of the year, giving everyone a chance to celebrate Grimsby, Immingham and Cleethorpes.

 

“We want to see as many people as possible come along and show their love and we can’t wait to get the events going.”

The events are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund #UKSP,  a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and produced by Swans Events on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council.
