The Lincolnshire Show, the county’s flagship event celebrating food, farming and the countryside, takes place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th June, with over 65,000 visitors expected to attend.
Ahead of the 141st Show, organisers have shared answers to the most frequently asked questions to help visitors prepare for the big day out.
Where is the Lincolnshire Show and how do I get there?
The Lincolnshire Show is held at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln, LN2 2NA.
It is recommended that visitors travelling by car use either the AA or RAC route planners for on-the-day travel updates. The Show operates by a temporary traffic management system, so you may need to follow diversion routes and event signage as you approach.
Parking is free and within a reasonable distance from the entrance gates, with options available for disabled badge holders in the Brown and White car parks. Taxi drivers are advised to use Gate 6 (Burton Road) for dropping off and picking up.
For those travelling by bus, Stagecoach will be operating a special bus service running from Gainsborough Bus Station and Lincoln Central Railway Station. More details can be found on the Stagecoach website.

What time do the gates open?
The gates are open from 8am to 6pm on both days of the Show. All trade stands and food, drink and entertainment stalls will be open during these hours.
How much are tickets and where do I buy them?
Tickets are cheaper if bought online in advance, but tickets can also be purchased on arrival, subject to availability.
Advanced tickets are priced at £28 for adults, £10 for children (under 3s are free) and £70 for a family (two adults and up to three children). Visitors are encouraged to book before the event to reduce waiting times and secure advanced ticket prices. To ensure quick entry, visitors are advised to have their pre-booked e-tickets ready to be scanned on entry, with phone brightness turned up. Tickets can be purchased from www.lincolnshireshow.co.uk, booking fees may apply.
Alternatively, on-the-day tickets can be purchased at entrance gates C, F and G, priced at £38 for adults, £15 for children and £80 for a family.
Where does the money raised through ticket sales go?
The Lincolnshire Show raises funds for the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS), a registered charity dedicated to educating the public about food, farming and the countryside. The charity aims to connect communities and showcase Lincolnshire’s rich agricultural heritage, representing the county with pride through engaging events, outreach and collaborations.
All profits from the Show are either reinvested to ensure the long-term future of the event or are used to support the LAS’ education work, which engages more than 16,000 local school children each year.
