Get ready, budding photographers, artists, and residents, as Boston’s beloved calendar competition is back again by popular demand!

Boston Borough Council is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2026 Boston Borough Calendar Competition, inviting residents and local photographers to capture the beauty, character and charm of our vibrant borough.

Whether it’s a misty morning across the fields, a golden sunset over the river, a bustling market scene in town, or a peaceful moment in one of our parks, this is your chance to showcase your talent and help illustrate the borough month by month in our 2026 calendar.

To enter, please submit your photographs to communications.unit@boston.gov.uk following the guidelines below:

Councillor Dale Broughton, Leader of Boston Borough Council said: “As a council, we’re delighted to bring back the calendar competition again for 2026.

“Every year we’re amazed by the creativity and passion that our residents show in capturing the spirit of our borough.

“Ultimately, this calendar is a celebration of the people and places that make Boston brilliant; I’m really looking forward to seeing what people send through over the coming weeks!”

A dedicated judging panel will select winning entries later this year. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm on Monday, 30 September 2025.

Selected photos will be featured in the Boston Borough Calendar 2026, which will be available to purchase locally. Further details will be shared later in the year.

By entering, you agree to allow Boston Borough Council to use your images in future promotions, with full credit always given to the photographer.
