The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) is delighted to announce that the Ag-Careers event will be held on Tuesday 4th February 2025, at the Lincolnshire Showground. This annual event aims to provide young people with a comprehensive insight into the dynamic fields of agriculture, horticulture, and the food sector, highlighting the diverse and progressive career opportunities available within these industries.

The Ag-Careers event is free to attend and welcomes secondary school students (Year 9 and above), home-educated individuals, college students, and those in further education. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

Industry professionals will offer a range of interactive experiences, providing valuable insights into the world of agriculture and its career prospects. Exhibitors from various sectors will be present to promote different career paths and share information about apprenticeship and graduate opportunities.

By highlighting the dynamic nature of these sectors, we aim to inspire and encourage talented young people to explore them as potential career paths. Lincolnshire is home to a thriving network of leading businesses, making this the perfect platform to educate and inform the next generation about the exciting and highly skilled roles available right here in their local area.

Our goal is to provide young people with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a real sense of the opportunities it has to offer."
