Local swim school, Puddle Ducks Lincolnshire has kicked off the celebrations early for what is its 15th successful year in business, providing swimming lessons to children across the area.

Led by owner, Nicola Wilson, the business has grown to considerable success and popularity over the last 15 years, now with 30 employees and teaching around 1000 children across 10 pools, creating a strong reputation in the area for the swimming lessons they provide.

Providing classes for babies and pre-schoolers right through to Swim Academy for school-aged children, Puddle Ducks Lincolnshire credit their loyal customers and passionate team as driving forces behind their success in reaching this milestone.

With a staff party to celebrate the achievement, loyalty was recognised in a number of team members including those who reached their own milestones, completing over five years of service.  The swim school also launched a special initiative as a way of giving back to their customers, with Nicola commenting: “This anniversary is a real testament to our loyal employees and customers who have supported us throughout the years and helped us to build a strong reputation.

“As a thank you we recently ran a competition giving away a term of free swimming lessons to 15 children. We put a form out for people to nominate a child who would benefit from the lessons for a specific reason and those 15 chosen have now started their free lessons”.

Katie Golding whose daughter Phoebe Golding is in Swim Academy Level 1 and was a lucky winner commented: "I am so thankful for the opportunity to give Phoebe swimming lessons. It such a lovely gesture to give back and we appreciate it greatly. We suffered a huge loss last year and to have something back feels like the tide is turning."

The swim school takes an innovative approach to swimming, employing highly trained teachers who can identify a child’s level of ability and adapt lessons and activities accordingly. Puddle Ducks also has small class sizes and incorporates rhyme and movement based on extensive child development research. Through these techniques, they can nurture confidence and encourage natural swimming ability.
