And, starting from Saturday 2nd August, Freshney Place will be hosting a different themed activities every Saturday to entertain the kids.

As part of the summer programme, children can also take part in the Sticker Quest Trail - collecting a sticker each week to add to their very own Summer Fun adventure book**. Amanda Austin, Centre Director said:

“We’re so excited to bring the community together this summer with fun, free activities for local families. We know how hard it is to keep children entertained throughout the long school summer break, so we hope these free activities will help out. From our sandpit to our themed Saturday events packed with entertainment, there’s something for everyone. The sticker collection challenge adds an extra layer of excitement – and a great incentive to join us each week!”

All activities are completely free of charge and will run from 11am–3pm*, giving families plenty of time to join the fun while enjoying everything the centre has to offer.
