Engines, Entertainment and Community Spirit

Stunning vehicles, family entertainment and two incredible local charities will come together this August as Classic Cars at Hesslewood returns for its sixth year.

Taking place on Sunday 16th August 2026, from 10am until 3pm at Hesslewood Office Park, Ferriby Road, Hessle, this much-loved community event is organised by Hesslewood Charitable Causes Fund. As a 100% not-for-profit event, this year it is supporting Humber Wellbeing Hub and Humber Rescue.

Whether you’re passionate about classic vehicles or just after a great family day out, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.

Vehicle owners are invited to exhibit everything from classic cars, motorcycles, rally cars, supercars, scooters and modern icons. If you’re proud of it, they’d love to see it! Advance exhibitor tickets are just £5 per vehicle, which includes entry for the driver and all passengers, with the entire donation going to this year’s charities. (Tickets purchased on the day are £10 per display vehicle.)

Alongside the vehicles there’ll be inflatables, birds of prey displays and handling, a mobile petting farm, face painting, family lawn games, a wide range of local business stalls, delicious food and drink, raffles, music and announcements from Humber Wave Radio, plus the chance to see Humber Rescue’s lifeboat and a Humberside Fire and Rescue fire engine up close.

Admission for visitors is £3 per person, with family tickets available for £10 (maximum two adults), and children under three go free. Every ticket sale supports this year’s charities.

Debbie, one of the founders of Hesslewood Charitable Causes Fund, said: “Every year the event grows because of the support we receive from our community, and we’re hugely grateful to everyone who gets involved. Whether you’re displaying a vehicle, volunteering, running a stall or simply coming along for the day, you’re helping make a real difference.”

Whether you’re exhibiting a cherished vehicle, bringing the family for a great day out, or simply calling in to enjoy the atmosphere, you’ll be helping support two remarkable local charities while enjoying one of the region’s most popular community events.

While the charities provide very different services, together they provide support when people need it most - from Humber Rescue’s immediate, life-saving response on the water, to Humber Wellbeing Hub’s longer-term support for mental health and wellbeing, every ticket sold and every vehicle displayed will help people before, during and after times of crisis.
