South Kesteven District Council is inviting people to comment on Dysart Park, one of three Grantham parks owned and managed by South Kesteven District Council.

The park has recently benefited from new fitness station workout equipment, funded by Grantham Rotary Club and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). A new multi-play unit has also been installed in the senior area and an information panel in the infant play area.

The consultation includes questions on why people visit, the condition of the park and satisfaction with what it offers. Respondents can also suggest any improvements they would like to see.

A spokesperson for South Kesteven District Council said: “We are proud that Dysart Park has received the prestigious Green Flag award two years running and are doing all we can to get that quality mark renewed for another year.

“New leisure and fitness equipment has added valuable opportunities for extra activity and the park has also benefited from extensive drainage works and new fencing on the Bridge End side of the park to improve security.

“By taking part in our consultation residents and visitors can illustrate their appreciation for the park and its facilities and guide the improvements we make going forward.

“I would encourage anyone who cares about this wonderful green space to respond to this consultation. We need to hear from you.”

Printed copies of the survey will also be available from the Visitor Centre at Wyndham Park, Grantham or SKDC’s Customer Service Centre, The Picture House, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

The consultation closes on 21st May 2025.
