Works continue to progress across the site, with the construction of the first homes well underway on the south of Charterholme. The project also includes the construction of a new road and bridge over the railway line, together with road improvements and associated drainage works along Tritton Road and new traffic signals at the Tritton Road and Dixon St junction. This remains on schedule for completion in early 2026.

Overnight Works for Eastern Access

Construction works to the new Charterholme eastern access route, which will open up the site and provide access from Tritton Road continues to progress well following the appointment of contractors, GRAHAM.

The project, which includes the construction of a new road and bridge over the railway line, together with road improvements and associated drainage works along Tritton Road and new traffic signals at the Tritton Road and Dixon St junction remain on schedule for completion by in early 2026.

The overnight drainage works on Tritton Road, carried out in January, were successfully completed ahead of schedule. As a result, the final planned day of road closures was not required, ensuring minimal disruption to road users.

Further nighttime works are scheduled to take place on Tritton Road and Dixon Street in early March 2025, and to minimise disruption to road users this work will be carried out under nighttime working between the hours of 8pm and 6am.

There will be a diversion route in operation during these works, which has been designed to minimise disruption to the road network and keep the traffic flowing for all road users with northbound traffic being diverted via the Lincoln Bypass (A46) and southbound traffic being diverted to follow a route via Dixon Street and Boultham Park Road.
