Tour ‘behind the scenes’ of region’s highly successful practice
Wolds Veterinary Surgery celebrates a year since opening its doors in Humberston in Grimsby and is welcoming everyone to attend a special opening day at the practice.
Veterinary founders, Pete Dixon and Phillips Mutondo and their team of 16 will take you on a special ‘behind the scenes’ tour around the ‘state of the art’ theatres, imaging suites and in-house laboratories and show you what it takes to run a busy clinic, which has gone exponentially since it opened last September.
With animal welfare at the heart of what they do, Wolds is also using the day to raise money for local charities with a host of family activities including pet portraits, presentations by award winning local groomer, Emma Bull, cake stalls, face painting, animal balloon modelling and much more.
Benefiting will be the local branch of the RSPCA, Cuddles Cat Rescue and North East Lincolnshire Animal Rescue (NELAR).
When: Sunday, 9th September between midday – 3pm
Where: Hewitts Business Park, Altyre Way, Humberston, Grimsby DN36 4RJ
Wolds Veterinary Practice hit the news when it opened last year, as the founders were pushing back against the corporate owned vets which now account for 80% of veterinary practices in the UK. Pete and Phillip have grown a practice which, over the past year has seen exponential growth as owners have flocked to the clinic where a personal, hands on approach to pet care has been at the forefront of their clinic.
