Join Trinity Arts Centre on our ‘eggcellent’ adventure this Christmas!

Come and join Mother Goose as she embarks on an eggcellent adventure between 14th – 29th December 2019!

The Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough is delighted to host its first professional pantomime in almost 10 years, which has been written by Ian Billings and is directed by Craig Sanders.

Children’s author and kid’s stand-up comedian, Ian Billings is adapting the classic pantomime Mother Goose, drawing on his experience as a veteran of over 50 pantomimes at some of the UK’s biggest venues to bring some comedic Christmas magic to Gainsborough.

Billings has also been a writer for CBBC’s ChuckleVision was nominated for Best New Writer to BBC Radio for his play about comedian Spike Milligan.

Billings said: “I’m really looking forward to writing Mother Goose for the Trinity Arts Centre. It’ll be Eggs-ordinary, Eggs-citing and will certainly have the Eggs-factor!”

The pantomime will be directed by Trinity Arts Centre manager Craig Sanders and is set to be a truly eggcellent adventure. Packed full of comedy, music and dance, all telling a cracking good rags to riches story!

Craig Sanders said, “The Trinity Arts Centre is very excited to be working with Ian Billings this year to create a truly fantastic panto that will entertain the whole family. We’re looking forward to bringing a bit of extra sparkle to Gainsborough over the festive period. I’d advise people to book soon to ensure they don’t miss out!”

There will also be two accessible performances of the panto, meaning customers with access needs will be able to enjoy this magical show. One performance will be signed, and another will be a relaxed performance, making it more autism friendly.

Tickets for Mother Goose are on sale now and start at £15 for adults and £13 for children. Performances will take place between 14 and 29 December.

You’re going to have to scramble your way to the front of the queue to poach a ticket to the best yokle panto in town!

Tickets can be booked through the Trinity Arts Centre website, via the box office in person, or over the phone at the Ticket Office on 01427 676655.

The box office is open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 1pm. www.trinityarts.co.uk
