Following the start of the first phase of the exciting Coastal Communities Funded project in Cleethorpes, See Change, you can have your say on two proposed designs for the creation of a plaza area at the top of Sea View Street in Cleethorpes.
The open event will be held on the afternoon and early evening of Tuesday 5 February and is the next stage in the planning and development of the £6.7m programme to enhance and improve the resort of Cleethorpes.
The drop-in event will be held at the Baptist Church on Alexandra Road, Cleethorpes from 4pm to 7pm.
The project team will have plans of the two proposed options and will be able to talk through these in more detail.
Cllr Peter Wheatley, Cabinet member for regeneration, said, “We promised to come back to the local residents and businesses with some options for the plaza area of Sea View Street, and we’d like people to come along and let us know what they think. It’s an important area of the resort, much used during events like the Armed Forces Day, so we want to make it as welcoming as possible.”
Plans and proposals will also be available on www.investnel.co.uk/cleethorpesregeneration where there will be a link to have your say. The plans will also be on display at the Cleethorpes Discovery Centre and at New Oxford House, DN31 1HB, the ENGIE office in Grimsby town centre from Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 February. Please note the ENGIE office is open 9-5pm week days only.
The feedback received through the drop in session, from online and from the displays will help develop a final design for the plaza area.
The survey opens on 5 Feb and closes on Sunday 10 Feb.
