We all know that window dressing is one of the great ways of attracting people to come into your business.
That’s why VESR, the local business-led group that help promote Grimsby and the rest of North East Lincolnshire, have launched a Christmas window-dressing competition.
The theme of the Christmas lights switch on this year (on 22 November) is Mary Poppins to tie in with the release of the new film in the coming months.
If your business is in the centre of Grimsby (including Wellowgate), why not get in the Christmas spirit and see how creative you can be?
There are two categories depending on the size of your business (national or local independent), and all windows will be submitted for a popular vote on DiscoverNEL’s facebook page.
Windows should be dressed in the theme of Mary Poppins, so get your creative hats on and let’s see how lovely we can make our streets.
Entry is open until 1 December, and judging will take place mid-December with the winners announced on 13 December.
Full terms and conditions and the online entry form can be found on www.discovernel.co.uk/GrimsbyChristmas.
