There is a new eatery opening in the Cleethorpes Market Place this bank holiday weekend. Peri Peri has a Nando’s style and brings a unique taste of peri peri food.
The new Peri Peri Restaurant and Takeaway, at 45 Market Place, is offering you a taste of the very popular Nando’s-style of food. Cleethorpes is crying out for a Nando’s-style restaurant you usually have to venture out the Lincoln or Hull, but we now have this type of food in the centre of Cleethorpes.
The popular-style of grilled food is brought to the Market Place and situated in the old Spice Hut premises. The team at Peri Peri have all been working very hard to ensure that the restaurant is up and running for the opening on Monday 28th August at 5pm.
It has taken around four weeks to get everything sorted but they have now completed all of the preparations and have a new team of staff. Everything inside the restaurant is new and as all of the food will be cooked fresh to order, they have a new state-of-the-art charcoal grill.
They offer a simple but exciting menu including peri peri chicken, wings, drumsticks, salads, steaks, lamb chops and homemade burgers with weekly special desserts.
The quality of the dishes is important to the team and they want to make sure that every dish comes out of the kitchen with the highest quality ingredients and service. Peri peri sauce is used as a seasoning or marinade and is Portuguese in origin and is especially prevalent in Angola, Namibia, Mozambique and South Africa.
It is made from crushed chillies, citrus peel, onion, pepper, salt, lemon juice, bay leaves, paprika, pimiento, basil, oregano and tarragon.
Fully licensed, the Peri Peri Restaurant is also offering a take-away service (collection only) from the Market Place. Opening hours are set from Sunday to Thursday 5pm until 11pm and Fridays and Saturdays are 5pm until 11:30pm.
