Ever fancied exploring space via a telescope? A Lincolnshire farm is to open up later this year for the first ever beginners stargazing workshop.

Chambers Farm Wood, near Wragby will be hosting a class on Friday 10th November between 6pm and 9:30pm. People who attend will be able to see the wonders of the sky explained to them and will learn how to use telescopes.

There are hopes that those who attend will get the chance to look at star clusters, distant galaxies and a comet. There are lots of people who are truly intrigued by the stars, but also feel a bit lost in space. This is the event for people who wish to learn a little more about the stars. They will use an informal speech for the workshop, ensuring that everyone can take away useful knowledge.

As long as the weather holds out, there will be a wonderful star party with astronomer Richard Darn, who will be running the event. Tickets for the workshop and are £16 and will go ahead regardless of the weather, and is open to adults and any children over 12. Limited spaces are available and you need to book your place to ensure that you don’t miss out.
