Lincoln Cathedral is now offering people the chance to adopt a piece of their stained glass windows.
Members of the public can adopt a particular piece of stained glass in order to support and fund the cathedral in their restoration projects. If you adopt a section of glass, you will receive an adoption pack containing a plan of the window locating your panel, an adoption certificate and a dedication certificate in either your or the recipient’s name.
Also, if you adopt a section of the glass that is £150 or more, you will also be offered a complimentary fellow memberships of Lincoln Cathedral for a year, usually worth £120. In addition to the glass adoptions, the cathedral also have panels of medieval stained glass that are available for sponsorship, starting from £6500.
