The UK’s only touring tribute festival is back and is celebrating its 11th year this summer – and the tour is coming back to Cleethorpes.
The party starts at Meridian Park on Saturday 10th June from midday, with three world-class tribute acts and five local support bands providing the warm up to get you in the party mood.
Matt Cheeseman, organiser of Cleethorpes Fake Festival, is delighted to be bringing the tour back again: “Last year’s festival in Meridian Park was a great event and the community really embraced the music and entertainment throughout – so this year we’re hoping to go even further.
Fake Festivals always have a brilliant atmosphere and we have a great line up for Cleethorpes again, as leading tributes to Queen, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis take to the stage. We’re looking forward to being able to give some local support bands the chance to experience playing at a festival too – and hopefully getting some more fans in the process.
Speaking about the tour, Fake Festival owner Jez Lee added:
We are very proud to be the UK’s only touring tribute festival, supporting some of the UK’s best tribute acts and local homegrown talent. 2017 also sees some new additions to the tribute line-up. We remain committed to bringing live music into the heart of communities where local people can enjoy a day out in their local park with friends and family for a great day of fun at an affordable cost.
