A footpath in Cleethorpes will undergo improvement works over the next few weeks.
Work will start on Monday 27 February in Albert Road, Cleethorpes, to replace the existing concrete flagstone footway with a buff flagstone, matching the recently installed flagstone on the memorial arch in Cleethorpes.
The works will take six weeks to complete and will take place on the southern side of the footpath – the same side as Cleethorpes library.
When completed the works will improve the safety of the footpath for pedestrians and improve the appearance and facilities in the area for local people and visitors.
In order to carry out the works safely a temporary one-way system will be in place to manage traffic. This will allow traffic to travel in a easterly direction from St Peter’s Avenue to Alexandra Road.
A local traffic diversion will be established via Knoll Street and Cambridge Street.
The works will be carried out by a local contractor in three phases and during each phase parking will be suspended to allow traffic to flow.
North East Lincolnshire Council and its partner Engie would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during these essential works.
