International restaurant chain Taco Bell is heading to Cleethorpes this month after the company began advertising for staff in the area.
Taco Bell currently operates nine outlets in the United Kingdom so is relatively unknown in most areas of Britain, and will be opening on Tuesday 19th July and is to be the Mexican restaurant chain’s first UK drive-thru creating 30 jobs for the area.
The brand specialises in flour tortilla tacos filled with classic ingredients such as refried beans, cheese, peppers and sour cream. They also serve a variety of burritos, wraps and nachos with sweet options including churros, which are a popular Mexican-inspired dough treat sprinkled with sugar and served with chocolate sauce. Worldwide, Taco Bell serves more than 2 billion customers each year in well over 6000 restaurants.
The Meridian Point outlet will be the first Taco Bell opening of 2016 and the brand’s 10th restaurant to pop up in the UK with its logo “Live mas!” This slogan takes a slightly different angle on the previous slogans “Think Outside The Bun” and “Yo Quiero Taco Bell”.
To celebrate the arrival of the new restaurant, the first 100 customers on the opening day will receive an exclusive “Cleethorpes First 100” T-shirt for free with their order. The new Taco Bell store will provide signature Mexican-inspired food to locals and holiday makers as well as creating 30 jobs for the local area. There is seating available for 50 people with free Wi-Fi and mobile phone charging points.
The new restaurant features innovative designs from Taco Bell International, exuding a youthful and urban look with Mexican influences and ideas from the brand’s California-based headquarters. The store will also feature an open kitchen, allowing customers to see their food being freshly made with great quality ingredients.
The Taco Bell menu is set to include Crunchy Tacos, Crunchwrap Supremes, Chicken Quesadillas and UK specific items such as the Fajita Burrito, Sol Cerveza and Mexican Fries.
