March down to North Lincolnshire Museum this half-term for Rotten Roman week and get involved with crafts, games, dress-up and other activities.
Get stuck-in with the free Roman-themed activities including making pots, mosaics and fresco paintings, or get ready for battle by making your own Roman helmet and dressing up like a Roman.
Invade our archaeology gallery to discover many Roman objects and find out more about our Roman knives, helmets and other artefacts.
Rotten Roman week at the museum will run from 28 May to 5 June 2016.
This half-term, take a closer look around the museum with one of our new Dudley Explorers backpacks. The packs are designed to help children under five explore the museum and search for colours, shapes and patterns. Packs are available to loan for free from the museum reception and are also available at Normanby Hall and the Farming Museum.
Why not also pick up one of our trail sheets during your trip to North Lincolnshire Museum. The trail sheets are designed to encourage family learning and are available from reception for just 20p per sheet. We have two trail sheets available, one for the under-fives and one for the over-fives.
