Gainsborough mobile leisure and digital specialists Kal Group are gearing up for a glittering awards ceremony after receiving three nominations.
The company has been shortlisted for Best Digital Business and Best Digital Marketing campaign, while director Andrew Wood has been nominated as Best Digital Entrepreneur in the Lincolnshire Digital Awards.
Kal Group specialises in marketing, branding and engagement within the mobile leisure industry and have earned three nominations in the face of stiff competition: 90 applications were submitted in total and 25 businesses are in the running for the prestigious awards, which will be presented at Lincoln’s Engine Shed on Thursday 28th April.

In the Best Digital Entrepreneur category, Andrew has cited his work within the community as one of the driving factors behind the nomination, including their recent Gainsborough launch of consumer shopping app SaveAsYou. Kal has also invested in 13 local young people, with six of them gaining full-time employment since the launch of Kal-Acadamy. The firm has created and maintained a charity website at www.lincolnsantafunrun.co.uk which registers runners digitally and allows them to fundraise for what has become a huge event in Lincolnshire’s sporting calendar.
As a company, Kal has grown beyond measure, from humble beginnings working out of a garage to where we are now as a trusted and renowned name within mobile leisure. To get the nomination for our marketing campaign with our clients Don Amott Caravans and Motorhomes, where we created video, social and web content to help replenish its caravan and motorhome used stock, is a great achievement for us.
It also helps us to show what value we offer to customers and how easy we are to work with.
