Uncle Henry’s Spring Food & Craft Fair weekend raises over £400 for charity!

The annual Spring Food & Craft Fair took place on the 18th & 19th April 2015 in aid of Grimsby & District Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research at Uncle Henry’s near Grayingham. Local craft stands attended alongside a selection of Uncle Henry’s food heroes, including Croft Apiaries honey, the Lincoln Tea & Coffee Company and new supplier, Mrs. Welsby’s pickles.Caption: Pictured: (left to right) Kerry Strawson, Annabel Herring and Emma Ward

The annual Spring Food & Craft Fair took place on the 18th & 19th April 2015 in aid of Grimsby & District Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research at Uncle Henry’s near Grayingham.

 

Local craft stands attended alongside a selection of Uncle Henry’s food heroes, including Croft Apiaries honey, the Lincoln Tea & Coffee Company and new supplier, Mrs. Welsby’s pickles.

Volunteers from Grimsby & District Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research ran a raffle over the weekend with all prizes kindly donated by the stallholders, suppliers and Uncle Henry’s. Kerry Strawson, the chairman of the charity along with Annabel Herring was presented with a cheque by Emma Ward, general manager for £439.61.

Kerry said:

On behalf of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research we would like to thank Uncle Henry’s for their long and continued support for our charity. The money raised will go to the Sheffield University hospital where they are making ground breaking discoveries in the fight to beat blood cancers for patients in our area.

Uncle Henry’s would also like to thank everyone involved with event including the various suppliers that attended on the day and also to all of our customers that have supported Grimsby & District Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
