North Kesteven Centre, Sleaford Leisure Centre and Harpers at Sleaford are offering free passes this November for men who are growing a moustache for prostate cancer and other male cancer charities.
Free three-day gym passes are being given out to anyone who is getting involved with Movember as the campaign is about encouraging men to adopt a healthier lifestyle and increase awareness of any family history of cancer, which ultimately will reduce the number of preventable deaths.
Kevin Yates, Head of Leisure at the leisure centres, commented: “I am glad to be able to welcome people who want to grow a moustache and support this great campaign. Often male cancer and men’s health generally is not spoken about enough so hopefully this will highlight it whilst also allowing men to come and try out our facilities for three days. There is plenty of activities to get involved in, so come down and try them out on us.”
To qualify for the free pass, people must book by prior appointment. For more information about the leisure centres, please visit www.harpersfitness.co.uk.
