St. Marks will host a family fun day this Saturday in aid of Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

From 11am-3pm, shoppers will be able to have a spin on the Lincoln Hire Bike Smoothie Bike, enjoy a bounce on two bouncy castles and meet and hold birds of prey from Hawks of Steele.

Shoppers will also be able to take part in a tombola and fill in a name card to name a small toy penguin, in celebration of Percy, the centre’s new Penguin shaped recycle bin.

The winner will be announced at 3pm and will receive the toy as prize.

Valerie Johnson, Centre Manager at St. Marks commented:

The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance is an amazing charity which relies totally on donations and we really wanted to show our support.”

The team and I were lucky enough to visit the crew at RAF Waddington this week and got to see the brilliant work they do. The crew also promised they would fly over St. Marks this Saturday, as long as they are not called out!”

We hope shoppers come along and join in the fun.
