Beatrix Potter Talk at Cleethorpes Library

Cleethorpes Library will play host to a Beatrix Potter Talk from 2pm to 3pm on Friday 8th April to coincide with the Beatrix Potter 150th anniversary celebrations.

Cleethorpes Library will play host to a Beatrix Potter Talk from 2pm to 3pm on Friday 8th April to coincide with the Beatrix Potter 150th anniversary celebrations.

The talk will feature a presentation on the life of Beatrix Potter, covering her development as an artist and illustrator, from her background to early work, culminating with the Peter Rabbit books.

The talk, which costs £3, will be given by Elizabeth Jacklin, Assistant to the Frederick Warne Curator of Children’s Literature at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

2016 marks 150 years since the birth of Beatrix Potter, one of the world’s best-loved children’s authors.
