The centre has put on an Easter display featuring Bagpuss – the iconic pink and white cat and the treasures he finds and displays in his shop.

Shoppers will see Bagpuss along with The Hildreds animated storyteller who will read about Bagpuss’ extraordinary finds!

Once again, the Easter display has been created to help raise money for Marie Curie and can be enjoyed from Saturday 19th March to Sunday 3rd April.

Centre manager, Steve Andrews, said:

We have specifically chosen Bagpuss as our Easter display to mark its 30th anniversary. This will be our 21st year we have used the Easter display to raise money for Marie Curie in Skegness and we are proud of our association with the charity.

As an extra treat for children visiting the display, free chocolate lollies will be given away. The centre is also running a Bagpuss colouring competition giving children a chance to win some magical prizes.
