HC-One, the third largest care home operator in the UK, which runs four care homes in Lincolnshire has launched a new initiative to help people find the right care for them and their loved ones.
The Careline is operated by HC-One’s specially trained Care Advisors. HC-One’s Care Advisors take pride in helping members of the public identify appropriate resources that will ultimately assist them in finding the best care solution for them. Choosing the right care for loved ones is one of the most important decisions we have to make, and HC-One’s One to One Careline is dedicated to helping people to make these decisions.
HC-One has invested in training members of their care teams to become knowledge leaders in specific areas such dementia care, community engagement, end of life care and Parkinson’s disease. They have embarked on a ‘back to the floor’ initiative where members of the careline team spent time in a HC-One home, and gained a first hand insight into life in a care home, and how the care homes are run. This ensures that they are able to deliver high quality professional service and inform members of the public about the care options available to them in their local area, whether that be with a HC-One home, or a different provider.
The new One to One Careline initiative forms part of HC-One’s ongoing aim to deliver the kindest possible care and engaging with local communities across the countries by providing a credible and effective care line service to members of the local community.
HC-One is also celebrating achieving a 9.3 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website carehome.co.uk. The high rating puts HC-One homes into the very best company in the care home sector.
HC-One Chairman Dr Chai Patel said:
We at HC-One are excited to have launched the One to One Careline. It is incredibly important to us that we help people find the right care in the right place at the right time, and our new careline will go a long way towards making that happen.
