Musicians set to entertain at St. Marks with music in the garden

St Marks Shopping Centre Lincoln

The 27th June will see Music in the Garden return to St. Marks as retailers and shoppers welcome a host of musicians for the annual event.

Lincoln BIG have teamed up once again with St. Marks to provide shoppers with entertainment in the St. Marks garden next to Debenhams.

Strummin’ Steve Jackson, Nigel & Teri, Blues Boy Kings Duo, Itchy Fingers, Panhandle Lynn and The Fyreflies will take it in turns to perform throughout the day from 11am – 4.15pm.

First to entertain shoppers will be Strummin’ Steve Jackson from 11am-11.45am. Steve performs a mixture of original acoustic songs and covers. Steve may also be recognised from his fortnightly column in the Lincolnshire Echo called “Set List” which explores folk and roots music in the area.

Nigel & Teri will follow Steve from 11.55am-12.40pm. The husband and wife acoustic duo specialise in English, Irish and Scottish folk music as well as contemporary favourites from the 1950’s and 60’s.

The afternoon sessions include performances from The Blues Boy Kings Duo with a blend of old and new sounds, Itchy Fingers who will play an eclectic mix of country-blues and western swing, Panhandle Lynn and the final performance will be brought to you by The Fyreflies who will showcase their take on folk rock.

To ensure that you can enjoy the whole day, Toby Carvery will also be serving refreshments in the garden.
