Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort, the award-winning venue at Broughton, is inviting golfers to experience its new QFairway club.
The country’s most flexible golf membership, which gives up to 50 rounds of golf from as little as £375, plus access to 14 other courses.
Golfers old and new have been invited to ‘test drive’ the innovative membership for themselves by enjoying a round of golf at open days at Forest Pines on March 26 and 29. Complimentary practice range balls, with a free ‘swing and grip check’, will be available before the round, with food and beverages in the bar afterwards.
Part of the AA Hotel Group of the Year, QHotels – which includes such prestigious venues as The Carrick at Cameron House in its portfolio – Forest Pines believes QFairway ushers in a new era of membership designed by and for the 21st century golfer.
The new scheme will prove particularly attractive for those who are short of time, yet looking to rekindle their passion for the sport while enjoying all the benefits of a traditional golf club membership. And Forest Pines members are spoilt for choice, with QFairway offering access to three QHotel venues within a short drive – Oulton Hall, in Leeds; Belton Woods, Grantham; and Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel, near York – and seven others across the UK.
Forest Pines’ director of golf, Andrew Cameron, said:
Points-based flexible memberships are not new but we believe QFairway takes the concept to a new level, because, with 11 hotels and 15 excellent golf courses – and the ability to allocate points to elements other than just golf – this is the most widely beneficial membership available on the market.
“QFairway effectively offers a bespoke membership for each individual. Whether you play once a week, once a month, or even require a corporate membership, there will be a points level to suit you. If you start playing more, topping up the points is quick and easy to do – and it comes with all the features members enjoy elsewhere but without the often extortionate fees levied by their clubs.
The QFairway flexible points-based membership gives golfers all the benefits of a full club membership – including the facility to hold a handicap and playing rights for club competitions. It also offers discount on food and drink, shop purchases, tuition, hotel bed-and-breakfast rates, and, most impressively, access to all of QHotels’ 15 golf courses.
Points may be used for golf, leisure club and spa facilities (where applicable), the driving range and even on buggy hire – all whenever and wherever the member requires. What’s more, unlike traditional golf club memberships, there is no joining fee, meaning that for a relatively small outlay keen nomadic golfers can now achieve their dream of belonging to a club, with all the friendly social benefits that entails.
The multi-award-winning, four-star QHotels collection offers championship-standard courses in unique resort locations – and now it also provides the perfect membership package for all golfers. Selected by The R&A for host venue for the 2013 Boys Home Internationals, Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort offers 27 superb holes of golf, which meander through majestic pines in three loops of nine – and it is as challenging as it is beautiful. Located a short distance from junction four of the M180 and nestled in 190 acres of beautiful woodland, its position makes it an ideal club for golfers in north Lincolnshire and Humberside – and, what’s more, it now offers the UK’s most flexible golf membership packages.
