The birds and the trees

A unique exhibition drawing influence from the natural environment, Saturday 5th to 27th April

Back by popular demand, pyrographer Elaine Thompson’s exhibition The Birds and the Trees opened to the public last Saturday 5 April. There has been a great interest so in Elaine’s work and long may it continue!

Elaine is a Midlands artist working in wood. She makes irregular shaped pictures from pieces of English hardwood using the grain as the inspiration for her work. This is also a selling exhibition so why not take the opportunity to buy a piece of this unique artwork, an ideal gift or even better for your own enjoyment!

Elaine’s work will be on display until Sunday 27 April so why not take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and come down and see us?! There’s so much to do! From walks around the beautiful nature park and Little Darter’s Adventure playground to great children’s activities. Please contact the centre for activities as these are available by booking only.
