Caistor in Bloom Spring Garden Competition results

Monday April 7 was certainly not a day to be out and about long as judges suffered a cloudburst and it did more than whet their appetite for the quality gardens that were on show

Caistor in Bloom President Ernie Brown was totally amazed “What an incredibly high standard of gardens we have in Caistor.”

Travelling through the town the judges felt a sense of civic pride that was obvious in all areas.

There was an absence of litter and areas were swept clean which bodes well for the groups next BigTidyUp on Saturday 12 April.

After much deliberation the judges felt that one garden did stand out due to the care and attention to detail that had been bestowed upon the whole garden with a lack of weeds, an immaculate lawn and neat edging.
